When Better Is Not Enough, Try More Excellent

What do you do when “just try harder” still isn’t enough? When you’re tired, frustrated, or waiting on God to come through, this message points us to something better than better: something more excellent in Jesus.

In this sermon from Hebrews 1:4, we’re reminded that Jesus has a name above every name, and that His help is not limited by our weakness, our past, or our circumstances. Whether you’re facing anxiety, doubt, pressure, sickness, or a season where you feel stuck, there is hope in calling on the name of Jesus and trusting Him with the next step.

You’ll be encouraged to stop carrying everything in your own strength and start bringing your life to God by faith. You’ll also hear a practical reminder that faith is more than knowing what to do. It is taking the step, praying the prayer, showing up again, and trusting God even when the answer hasn’t come yet.

Where do you need to trust God deeper this week? What would it look like to reach for “more excellent” instead of settling?

Watch, share it with someone who needs hope, and if you’re nearby, we’d love to have you join us in person at New Covenant Apostolic Church.
