There Can Only Be One King

Who is really calling the shots in your life right now? Your plans, your emotions, your fears, your past? Or Jesus?  

In this message, “There Can Only Be One King,” we look at the story of Absalom and King David and ask an honest question: where have we quietly taken the throne in our own hearts? Absalom didn’t rebel in a day. He slowly stole the hearts of the people, the same way pride, worry, and self-reliance slowly pull us away from trusting God.

You’ll be challenged to:

- Identify specific areas where you are trying to control everything instead of trusting God  

- Invite Jesus to be King over your heart, your situations, and your family this week through simple, practical steps like prayer, surrender, and obedience

If you’ve felt tired from holding everything together, torn by family tension, or unsure what to do next, this message will meet you there. You’ll see that Jesus is not out to crush you, but like David with Absalom, He loves you even in your rebellion and invites you home.
