Strong in Every Season

Aug 16, 2026    Pastor Anthony Sizemore

What do you do when life does not change as quickly as you prayed it would? When the pressure is real, the answer is delayed, and you are trying to stay strong but feel worn down?

In this message, we look at Philippians 4 and the real meaning behind “I can do all things through Christ.” Paul wrote those words while facing hardship, uncertainty, and need. His confidence was not that everything would be easy. His confidence was that Jesus would strengthen him in every season.

This sermon speaks to anyone dealing with anxiety, fear, discouragement, sickness, financial pressure, or the weight of trying to hold everything together. You will be encouraged to keep praying before you panic, keep worshiping in the valley, and remember that your current battle is not proof that God has left you.

This week, ask yourself: Where am I trying to survive in my own strength? What would change if I gave that area to Jesus every morning?

Watch and be reminded that you are not fighting alone. If this message encourages you, share it with someone who needs hope today, and we would love to have you join us in person at New Covenant Apostolic Church.
